Kapparis, Cyprus - The east coast all year round holiday spot

The Cyprus holiday resort of Kapparis is situated along the coastline of the east side of the island. It has a thriving community of both Cypriot and European residents. It location makes it an ideal summer and winter holiday destination as it is only 5 minutes drive from the main shopping town of Paralimni where you will find various places of interest, bars, restaurants, some delightful boutiques right up to the large supermarkets. My Property Cyprus has a wide-ranging of self catering villas and apartments in the heart of the holiday resort of Kapparis all of which are ideal for families and couples. The popular resort of Protaras is only 5km away and Ayia Napa is only 8km from Kapparis. There is a bus service which runs from Kapparis to both of these resorts and also a bus service to Paralimni town centre, which is only 2km away.

Kapparis has some of the most amazing sandy coves and from some of these beautiful beaches you can look out towards the ghost town of Famagusta (Verosha). Kapparis has grown quickly over the last few years from a small village into a flourishing community and due to this fact most of the bars, restaurants and supermarkets remain open. You can choose from local traditional Cypriot cuisine, Italian or Chinese restaurants or a kebab if you want something quick to take away. There are wine bars, sports bars and hotel bars in Kapparis all with a relaxed atmosphere making it the ideal destination for a truly relaxing winter or summer holiday.

There are several secluded bays just off the main Kennedy Avenue which have excellent facilities where you will find water sports and snack bars, perfect for lazy days full of sunbathing and swimming in the crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean. Kapparis offers several small supermarkets along the main road to take care of your every day needs.

In the winter months Cyprus also benefits from snow-skiing in Troodos Mountains, usually the snow falls between the months of January till the end of March. The highest point of the Troodos range is Mount Olympus. Mount Olympus. The Cyprus Ski Club has four Ski lifts. Two on the North Face of Mount Olympus, one 350 metres long and the other is 500 metres long. The other two ski-lifts are installed at 'Sun Valley' south of Mount Olympus and are both 150 metres long. The seaside town Kapparis is approximately one and a half hour's drive away from Mount Olympus.

If you are looking for a great winter or summer holiday retreat then Kapparis should be listed as one of your top destinations. For more information you can visit My Property Cyprus website; email rentals@mypropertycyprus.com ; telephone the office (00357) 23 814 477.
