What we do best - Cyprus Villa Rental

We want to share our progress with you and so we thought we'd relay our blog to date. My Property Cyprus was established a number of years ago (2003 to be precise) and until recently our business revolved around supplying properties (sales) to those wishing to purchase them. This included those wanting to invest in Cyprus all the way to individuals who just wanted to buy a second home for their personal use.

Anyway that's what we did and we still do to date. Last year (2008) we embarked on a massive program to reorganise our business so that we could provide a professional Cyprus villa rental scheme to all those wishing to rent their villas, apartments and bungalows as holiday rentals.

So how did we do this? We knew what was lacking in the Cyprus market and listened to our clients to provide an infrastructure that would benefit both parties. This scheme as you know it today is to to provide luxury affordable and cheap villa rentals in Cyprus. Our new website, http://www.mypropertycyprus.com/ has totally been re-written to allow just this. Combining technology with an easy interface allowing client a memorable surfing experience.

To add to this our new website allows easy access to upload your Cyprus villa details combining the power to synchronise with social networking sites like YouTube, photobucket. With this technology in hand, landlords of Cyprus Villas now have the ability to upload their personal videos into our website within seconds. No overheads, not cost , just plain easy and simple to use! We have just released the first version of our website and the best is yet to come...

360º Virtual Tours of Villas and Apartments:
I recently saw on BBC News that Google was providing street level virtual tours of London (click here to see sample). My face lit up, not because I found it amazing but we were providing the same technology on our website! Wow, had we beaten google in their technology was my first thought? Obviously not, they had the financial backing to do just this. On the other hand we had implemented this feature on our website that provided a far superior interface than anything available with any Villa Rental Company in Cyprus. So we must be on the right track don't you think?

OK we must admit that our virtual tours are not as superior to those of Google but we are providing this service at a very nominal cost. I have seen a lot of rental websites in Cyprus offering a video tours and overcharging customers just because they add a soothing tune. How can can a client wishing to book a holiday see the actual holiday villa without having to pause, rewind or go backward and forward? Anyway enough of the critisisms and it time for me to introduce our Cyprus Villa which has virtual tours.....

Starting up
As anyone who runs their own business would know, its never easy to start one up. Actually its easier for those on the other side of the fence to criticise, and yes, we did get our fair share of criticisms when our website was first launched. The most common was that we were no where in google listing.

Fair comment I would say, however we did not have much choice when we embarked on the Cyprus Villa rental program. We made a conscious decision/choice to keep the same website name. At the end of 2007, My Property Cyprus ownership changed hands and one of the ex-owners setup his own rentals Company. This unfortunately has put us in a very awkward position with clients who thought that we were connected. To make this absolutely clear we do not have any business dealings with this rental Company.

My Property Cyprus did not offer a full villa rental service when the split occurred because we did not believe we had the right infrastructure in place to offer this facility. It would not be fair on the landlord would it now? If you ask now, the answer is a plain and simple, Yes because of what I have already discussed earlier.

Going back to my point that we kept the same website name, was disadvantageous with what we were trying to achieve, and the time frame we had to get us back on track. We received our fair share of critiques saying it would take a long time to get on google listing. Well I can safely say that we have proved the critiques wrong again, and we are now in the top 20 pages of Google. We are now on page 5 of Google when you search for Ayia Napa Villa, page 14 for Cyprus Villa and we are working extremely hard to ensure we are on page 1. All this in a matter of one and a half month is a remarkable feat to achieve, but we did again!

So I am pround to anounce that we are back in full force to provide the best Cyprus Villa rental program. To sum it all up, the best is yet to come from us, so watch this space...
